Why "go go, skooter"?
When I started blogging, I had an awesome dwarf hamster named Skooter, who liked to run on his wheel at extreme speeds. Now Skooter is the name of a furry green monster who you may occasionally see here and there.
Why did you start a comic blog?
Back in 2006 or 2007, I was visiting my good friend Sean in New York and he introduced me to Scott Pilgrim by Bryan Lee O'Malley. I’ve always enjoyed doodling but after reading Scott Pilgrim I became really motivated and inspired to draw more. I decided to start a comic blog because 1. I wanted to blog but 2. I hate using words and long sentences (I swear I am competent). It also served as a nice distraction during architecture school, and a way to keep in touch with my family when I moved from Michigan to Houston after graduating.
What is your favorite color?
Yellow! But really, I like all colors.
Then how come you don’t color your comics?
I hate colors. Ok, I like looking at colors but I haaaaate coloring.
What is your favorite dance move?
My go-to is the robot + noodle dance: lots of wiggling. I wiggle a lot.

How do you remember your dreams?
That’s a really good question. I’m not sure, but I think consciously my mind is always hoping for a bizarre dream so that I have something to blog about, and thus I end up having a bizarre dream, if that makes sense.
How fast can you run a 5k?
Currently: 30 minutes.
